MapleTriage assembles its NRC IRAP data room and technical-readiness documentation
As part of its pursuit of innovation funding through Canada's National Research Council Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP), MapleTriage has completed an important groundwork milestone: a structured data room and an accompanying set of technical-readiness documents.
The data room organizes the project's progress into clearly defined sections, covering the problem being solved, the technical approach, the privacy and security posture, and the methodology guiding development. The technical-readiness documentation records how the platform's core ideas have moved from concept toward early, demonstrable capability, using a structured readiness framework to keep claims honest and evidence-based.
For an early-stage product, this kind of documentation matters for more than funding. It forces discipline: writing down assumptions, testing them, and being clear about what is proven versus what is still in progress. It also reinforces MapleTriage's commitment to privacy and Canadian data sovereignty by making those design choices explicit and reviewable.
MapleTriage remains in active development. The team views this milestone as a foundation for the next phase of work, including continued evaluation toward NRC IRAP and conversations with Canadian healthcare partners. Organizations interested in following along can get in touch.
